Marcelo D2 announces European tour of album “Amar é Para os Fortes”
Marcelo D2 starts in June his tour in Europe. The concerts take to the international audience the artist’s most recent album: “Amar é Para os Fortes”. The singer has been working on the promotion of his new album in shows throughout Brazil, and now is the time to reach the foreign market.
The first show of D2 overseas will be in Loulé (Portugal) in June 28, and then the artist will perform in Porto (Portugal) in the next day. In days 5, 6, 7 and 8 of July the singer have shows scheduled in Paris (France), Barcelona (Spain), Dublin (Ireland) and London (England), respectively.
Marcelo D2 showed his latest work in Festival João Rock 2019, accompanied by his oldest son, Stephan Peixoto, also known as Sain KTT, with whom the artist had worked before. On the stage, the duo presented hits from D2’s careers and new songs.
D2 is a rapper born in Rio de Janeiro and a founding member of the band named “Planet Hemp”. He started his solo career in 1998 with album “Eu Tiro é Onda”. Subsequently, he released three other albums as a solo artist, as well as two special albums with his former band: “A Invasão do Sagaz Homem Fumaça” and “MTV ao Vivo: Planet Hemp”.
