Jimmy London partners with the band Rats and releases a music video for “Do Meu Jeito” (My Way)
The former vocalist of the Brazilian countrycore band Matanza, Jimmy London launches his new musical project “Jimmy & Rats” in partnership with the Irish punk band Rats. To seal the beginning of the new work, the band announces a series of live videos in studio, starting with the single “Do Meu Jeito” (My Way).
The group brings musical influences from previous projects of the involved artists and mixes instruments like banjo with Irish rock sounding, categorizing their style as irish buccaneer hardcore punk rock.
“I have known Fernando Oliveira, from Rats, since Canastra, or even before, and the other guys also have been playing in bands out there. It was natural for me to start joining them,” says Jimmy, who was also the musical producer of Rats’ first album, formed by Kito Vilela on guitar and vocals, Bruno Pavio on bass, Pedro” Faucom “Richaid on drums and Fernando Gajo in the accordion, besides Oliveira.
