Emicida releases music video in honor of Chorão
The rapper Emicida released the second music video of his first DVD “10 Anos de Triunfo – Ao vivo”, produced by Laboratório Fantasma. The song is a re-recording of Charlie Brown Junior’s “Como tudo deve ser”, and a tribute to the former lead singer of the group who died in March 2013.
In a video posted on his facebook, the rapper talks about his relationship with Chorão and the cover that was recorded for the DVD. “I’m not in the habit of recording other people’s music in my discography. However, I recorded Charlie Brown’s sound, because I felt it was a thank-you that I needed to say. I am an incorrigible advocate that rap must also worship other cultures because we are born of them “, said the singer.
The album is due to be released in April and brings the compositions that are part of Emicida’s career. Recently, the singer released the first clip of the DVD with the song “Levanta e anda”, one of his biggest hits along with singer Rael.
The Laboratório Fantasma is part of the Brasil Music Exchange (BME), a project to stimulate the export of Brazilian music through a partnership between Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
