Zeca Baleiro releases the single “Sete Vidas”
Last Friday (August 30), singer Zeca Baleiro released “Sete Vidas”, the first track of his new album. The song was made available on digital platforms and is the first track of “O Amor no Caos Vol.2”, the 12th authorial album of the artist.
The album is expected to be released this year. This work will be more acoustic and less influenced by pop than his previous record. Baleiro wrote the songs and also played the acoustic guitar and the electric guitar in this work, which has Adriano Magoo on the Rhodes piano and Fernando Nunes on the bass.
The record “O amor no caos – Volume 1” was released in May by Zeca’s own label, Saravá Discos, which is also responsible for editing Volume 2.
Born in the city of São Luís, in Maranhão, Zeca Baleiro started his career by writing songs for children’s plays in the 1980s, but it was his mixture of rhythms with humorous and ironic lyrics that made the audience and the press to receive well his first album, entitled “Por Onde Andará Stephen Fry?” and released in 1997.
The artist has already toured across Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Cape Verde, Angola, Argentina and Uruguay. Also, some of his albums were edited in Portugal, Spain, Argentina and France.
