Liniker e os Caramelows releases clip for the song Calmô
The band Liniker e os Caramelows released this Tuesday 18th, the clip of the song Calmô, with the scenery of a serene journey among the mountains of Gonçalves, Minas Gerais. Launched in October, the song was defined as “peace in chaos” by the artist.
From this definition came the ideas for recording the video directed and scripted by the creation duo DIABA.
The script shows a quiet and romantic trip made on two wheels by a couple played by the actresses Dani Fontana and Heloísa Hariadne. Besides them, and Liniker herself, the clip shows only women on the scene, to reinforce the female protagonism that the band has exalted since the beginning of its career.
“We thought of affectionate and nonviolent detachment. It is about the pure love of people who allow themselves to be together and also understand the time to finish and move on”, says Liniker.
Calmô was recorded at the Philophon studio in Berlin, produced by the bass player Rafael Barone and is the second track revealed of the band’s next album. The work arrives in the first half of 2019 with the support of Natura Musical notice. The song succeeds the track “Lava”, released in March this year.
