Emicida opens Brasil Experience project in Russia
The first attraction of Brasil Experience marked the night of Moscow on Wednesday (20). The rapper Emicida took the stage of Powerhouse Moscow and opened the Brazilian shows line up in the Russian capital. The artist sang several songs of his career as “Passarinhos”, “Pantera Negra” and “Gueto”.
The activities are part of the Brasil Experience project, an initiative of Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) through the Brasil Music Exchange, and the Ministry of Culture (MinC).
The audience was formed by Russians and Brazilians, including several opinion makers from the host country of the World Cup. The public sang-along the Brazilian rapper hits. Emicida performed during 1h30.
The Brasil Experience agenda continues on Saturday (23), with the presentation of Gian Correa, at 9pm. On Sunday (24), the audience can check the presentation of Selvagens à Procura de Lei at 4pm, and taste the Brazilian cuisine of chef Guga Rocha that will prepare a tropical fish with mango vinaigrette, coconut rice and banana farofa at 3pm.
The Brasil Music Exchange (BME) is a Brazilian music export project carried out through a partnership between Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). The project has a long-term relation across the local music industry: labels, publishers, music festivals, studios, trade bodies, performing rights organizations and media.
