Emicida launches music in honor of the Black Panther character

Comic fan since childhood, the singer Emicida has released a video clip in honor of his favorite character: Black Panther. The single follows the debut of the Marvel film in Brazil, which takes place on Thursday next week (15). The artist is part of the Brasil Music Exchange (BME), a Brazilian music export project carried out through a partnership between Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A) and the Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos (Apex-Brasil).

The song’s lyrics cross the story of the rapper with that of the character, who was the first black superhero to appear in Marvel comics in 1966. The appearance of the film bringing the hero as the protagonist inspired the singer. “I was excited about the possibility of the Panther becoming a movie and, with the realization of that, I joined the producer Felipe Vassão, my partner since ‘Triunfo’, to mix our universe with that of the superheroes that people like,” said Emicida in a note.
