BME closes partnership with BIG Festival 2018
The Brasil Music Exchange (BME), a Brazilian music export project carried out through a partnership between Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), announced a partnership with the Brazil’s Independent Games Festival. Considered the most important gaming event in Latin America, the festival takes place between June 26 and July 1 at Centro Cultural São Paulo (SP) and Centro Cultural Oi Futuro (RJ).
The action is part of the event’s strategy of integrating various sectors of the creative economy into programming, including lectures and panels related to the music market. In addition, two international buyers are confirmed at the event: Samantha Schilling, music supervisor of Reel Muzik Werks of LA and Duncan Smith, music supervisor of the Playstation of LA.
Founded on 2001, BM&A (Brasil, Música and Artes) was created with the goal of encouraging and organizing the international diffusion of Brazilian music, attracting exchange value to Brazil, as well as giving support to the export of other products, through cultural actions abroad. Acting throughout the music production chain, BM&A has established itself through initiatives that adapt our industry to new standards in the international music business. Since 2003, it operates in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), developing the project Brasil Music Exchange to facilitate connecting Brazilian and international companies, establishing partnerships and generating business opportunities.
