Anna Ratto releases her fifth album “Tantas”
The singer Anna Ratto released her fifth album “Tantas” on Friday (06), the first on Biscoito Fino label. The objective of the work was to give voice to other composers, since the others were about her life.
“Tantas” is also the beginning of the partnership of the composer with two producers: Jr. Tostoi and Marcelo Vig. “I called Vig to think this new job with me. That is when we invited Jr Tostoi, whom I already admire from works he does with Lenin and many other artists. Also because I wanted to get out a bit of this more conservative line of MPB and bring a daring, an experimentation that I had been missing, “explained Anna in a text published on his website.
The album had the participation of several composers, among them: Carlos Posada, João Bernardo, Quinteto da Paraíba, among others. Started in 2016 and interrupted for the birth of Anna Ratto’s first son, “Tantas” translates much of the personal and musical experiences the artist has lived in recent times.
The company Biscoito Fino is part of the Brasil Music Exchange (BME), a Brazilian music export project carried out through a partnership between Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
